Our Trip to the "Beach"

We have a family tradition of going away to my parents timeshare for General Conference weekend. We have done this for as long as I can remember. It is always so much fun and makes for some great memories, as well as the spiritual feast that we get to partake off as we listen to the living Prophets of our day. This year was no exception.

It was decided a few months ago, that this year we would be meeting up in Bear Lake Utah. King J and I decided that it would be fun if we went for a few extra days and have some additional "family" time. It was SO worth it. We love using our vacation days to visit our extended family, but it was so nice to have some time to just be our own little family. Creating fun memories of the times just by ourselves.

It was supposed to be cold stormy weather while we were up there, so we decided to go to the "beach" the day we got there. It was the warmest of all of them. Princess E has been asking me for a long time when we could go to the beach. She has seen it on TV and movies. The girls were so excited when we came down from the mountain and saw the bright blue water and sand. They had a great time collecting sea shells and wading in the water. Which ended up in soaked clothes because they would see a good shell in the water and bend down to get it. Oh well.
