A New Hat

This was just to cute not to post. Princess M has a new "hat". She thought she was hot stuff when she figured it out.

A day at the Salon

So we have some very good friends who's children play with our girls all the time. Well we were watching them the other night and Claire asked Princess E if she wanted a haircut. Something a mother would usually panic about when those words come out of a 3 year old mouth.

Well it was the cutest thing. Claire had her sit in her chair, she shook out the blanket and put it around her shoulders and proceeded to "cut" her hair and style it with her fingers. It was so cute. I was giggling to myself the whole time. I think the clincher though was the strawberry glasses Claire insisted on wearing while she did it. It was obvious that haircuts were not something foreign to this little cutie.

Cooleyville

We had a trip scheduled to Idaho to see our Cooley cousins this last weekend. We were supposed to have a really bad snow storm here in Utah, so we were not sure we were going to make it. But the Heavens parted and we didn't have more than a few flakes on the windshield the whole way there and back.

We had so much fun. The real reason for our trip up was for King J to watch a few Jazz games with his big brother. I really think they enjoy being with each other and watching their favorite team together.

The kids had so much fun. I don't usually tell them we are going to see them until right before. This time was no different. An hour before we pulled out I told them why I was packing our bags.

One of our favorite things when we are there is Uncle Trevors cooking. He always makes such yummy things. He is a wiz at the grill. He made King J's favorite burgers and hotdogs. The kids are enjoying the feast in the picture above.

Paige is loosing one of her teeth and was hoping it would fall out.

We went out to eat at a really good BBQ place. The princesses were in heaven with their corn on the cob and mac n cheese. I even had to order extra of both because they were enjoying it so.

It is no secret that the girls love animals. Well the Cooely's had a kitty that was not shy of people, and actually loved being around the kids. The girls were so happy and Princess M even learned how to say "mere, diddy, diddy".

We had such a good time. The only thing that would have made it better is if we were able to do it more often.

Bubble Fun

We got a new toy this week. A Bubble machine. Let me tell you it is one of the best inventions ever. The girls have been having a blast. I got the machine specifically for their birthday party in April. I ended up buying a new, different one because this one just didn't have the output that I wanted. But it sure is fun anyway.

I Love to see the Temple, I'll go inside one day.

King J and I have been fortunate enough the last week to make it to the Temple 3 times. Twice to do a session and once for a wedding. There is something so wonderful about being in such a holy place with the one you love. To be together and receive revelation. I LOVE going to the Temple with my sweetie. We have not been able to go as much as we would have liked to in the last year, so it has been good to go back. It is also very nice when the spirit whispers in your heart things that you are seeking earnestly, when you have put yourself in the right place and situations to hear him. I have such a firm testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Especially that of Eternal Families. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has made places where we can go and commune with him, and he can let us know that he has not forgotten us. I am so grateful for my membership in his great church. I know it is the true gospel.

Christ in the America's

As was mentioned in a previous post, we visited the art Gallery in the LDS Conference center the other night. We saw all the original Arnold Frieburg paintings. Well King J and I noticed something that we have never noticed before. Here is a picture of Christ visiting the Americas. But as you look closer a figure starts to appear.
In the middle of the "light" is Christ.
Pretty Cool Hu?

I hope they call me on a Mission

Another fun thing that we have done the last few days is hang out with Uncle Keith. He flew in on Presidents day and entered the MTC on Wednesday. It has been so fun to host the twins in the last few months right before they go out to serve the lord. They both will be such great missionaries. We decided to take Keith to the SLC Temple the night before he reported to the MTC. It was such a great experience. As we were coming down out of the celestial room a deaf session was about to start and all the workers were signing to each other. It was pretty neat. We walked around a bit and took some pictures. Keith was snapping them left and right. This is a true "Keith" picture.
We took a minute to go into the conference center and took a really short tour. We went into the art gallery and saw all the original Arnold Freiburg paintings that are included in the Book Of Mormon. They were amazing. Elder Cooley insisted he get his pictures by all the "Missionary" ones.

We love you Elder Cooley!!!!
Reporting to the MTC, he is walking in the middle.
Getting his dork dot and name tag.
Way to go ELDER!! Knock em dead in Eugene!!!

Basketball

We were lucky enough to watch a few Basketball games this weekend. The star players were Nathan, Jake and Lydia. This was the most basketball action King J has seen since he gave up watching most of the Jazz games last week.

Fun Family Time

We had so much fun this weekend. All of the cousins were together. It is hard to believe that there are already 11 of them. It was amazing that they all got along too. I don't remember 1 single fight between any of them. Left to right, Abbie, Graham, Parker, Princess M, Princess E, Grace, Lincoln, Connor, Annie, Chloie and Alivia.
Grandpa loves to give all the kids rides in the bucket. He loves his Deer. The Grand kids love it too. Except our 2 Princesses, they usually run the other way real fast. They HATE loud noises. Notice Princess E running in the back ground.
Here Annie is holding the newest addition, Connor.
The morning we were supposed to head home it started snowing buckets and buckets. Grandpa had to pull out the Deer and put the plow on the front. These 3 thought it was the coolest thing ever. Especially Lincoln who was so impressed with Grandpa's "digger". They watched him remove the snow for a good 20 minutes.
Princess M was so impressed with all the babies. Here she is laughing along with Graham and Alivia. They were so cute.
Princess M and Gracie girl were not so sure of each other at first. They were born only 4 days apart so Chelle and I always com pair the two. They are so similar, but very different. By the end of the weekend though they were in love with each other. In fact as I am typing this Princess M is getting all excited and saying "gacie, gacie"

Now these two were so happy to see each other. It was as if no time had passed since they saw each other last. It was funny that Princess E was almost a full head taller than Link.
Princess E LOVED the babies. It was all she has talked about since we have come home. Here she is holding baby Graham.

The Bachelor Party

So the morning of the wedding all the men and boys met at the IHOP for a breakfast bachelor party to honor Kyle. I sent the camera with King J to take some pictures, and this is the result of his photo op. Looks like they had fun, and lots of good food.

Going to the Temple and we're gonna get married

Well Kyle and Christy called all of us a few weeks ago and and asked us what we had planned for Presidents weekend cause they were getting hitched. It was so fun to sit in the American Fork Temple all together. The younger kids were able to sit in the foyer and watch all the grand kids. Thank you so much. Here are just a few pictures from our day at the Temple. Welcome to the Family Christy!!!
