The first snow of 2007

Princess E has been looking forward to it snowing ever since we were in Bear Lake a few weeks ago and we were expecting to get dumped on. No such luck. So just about every day since then she has jumped up and looked out her window just about every morning. And then with a sad face, comes into my room and exclaims, "It didn't snow last night, when is it going to snow?"

So Sunday morning it was with great excitement that she came running into my bed and said,
"Mom, guess what, it snowed! Come look!" It was very hard to get her dressed for church and out the door without letting her and little sis go out and play in it. But after church we decided it would be alright to play while King J and I pulled lunch together. Most of the snow melted while we were in church. But there was still enough for 2 little girls to have some fun.
Those plastic shovels aren't just good for digging up moms flowers. They make playing in the snow lots of fun. They even asked if they could get out the sled and go sledding. Not enough for that my dear.
