We have had a great Easter week this year. The girls got to attend 2 different Easter egg hunts. One of which was hosted by yours truly in our yard. It was attended by friends from the neighborhood and ward, as well as friends from one of the message boards I am a member of. We had probably 30-40 kids. We had to split it up between little and big kids.
Princess M was a little disappointed with the loot she got that day, but I assured her there would be more at the next one.

The second egg hunt, was at my Great grandmas old home. It was the Easter tradition growing up to attend this one. It always included a potluck, and we weren't disappointed. The girls made out well. I think they got more candy than they did at Halloween.
Princess M was pretty cute. When she got about 5 pieces in her bucket, she turned around and said, "eh, that is enough." The real reason being a little dog ran past and she just had to go say hello.
We had lots of fun early in the week making Sugar cookies and dying the eggs.

These were our 3 favorites. Many have asked, and we just colored them with regular old crayons before dipping them to get the designs on them.
The Easter Bunny was pretty giving this year. Normally he doesn't bring such big baskets. But he must have gotten a great deal at the after Christmas Disney store sale and felt he needed a reason to give the girls some new pj's and sleeping bags. :)

The new jammies match each of their sleeping bags. One is Cinderella and the other is Tinkerbell. It has been fun sleeping in them for the last 3 nights.
We hope you had a fun Easter too.

So cute! I am sad we missed the easter egg hunt at Grandma Bakers house... that is one of my favorite Easter memories as a child. I'm glad that some of the cousins were able to attend!
