Each year the kids have the opportunity to earn a free Six Flags ticket by reading 6 hours in Jan-Feb.
This year both girls did it and we went as a family a few weeks ago.
We have now been 2 times and have realized both times that Six Flags, especially the one where we live, is more for teenagers/adults. It has way more large coasters/thrill rides than it does family/kids rides.
We all dressed the same, thanks to my mom who always dressed us the same as kids when we would go to theme parks. It was much easier to spot each other.
The girls HAD to have their picture taken by the bamboo that was growing near the river ride. It was the last ride of the day that we went on and they were just blown away that it was REAL.
We still had a great day, despite the lack of great kid rides and we timed it just right to be heading to our car when the down pour started.
